Last Entry... We've spent 5 days or so in LA now. We divided our time between Hollywood (which, btw, is not particularly nice!) and Santa Monica (in an attempt to get some sort of tan before we get back). Unfortunately the only star we've seen is Mickey Mouse at Disneyland but never mind. Hey Arrived in Santa Barbara yesterday from San Francisco. We're planning on having a couple of days here to relax before heading to LA as our final stop. On our last day in San Fran we continued our active theme and rented bikes with a friend we met out here. Cycled across the bay and over the Golden Gate Bridge. Well we survived two days camping! We're very proud. Though i should add that there was an actual bed in the tent and we didn't exactly live off cold baked beans so maybe we shouldn't be too proud. The start of the trip was a bit dramatic when we got left behind by the bus but a bit of quick thinking, one greyhound bus and 5 hours later, we still made it. Finally made it to sunny California. It's so cold here though compared to Vegas! Its probably only 30 degrees... The hills here compete with Everest i'm sure. Not sure whose idea it was to build a city like this but it certainly makes tram rides interesting. We've seen the Golden Gate bridge and Alcatraz though probably won't make it actually to the island because it seems impossible to get tickets. Tomorrow we're leaving for a two day tour of Yos...

Las Vegas now! We're trying not to gamble all our money away... More from Vegas... Just got off a helicopter flight through the Grand Canyon...yep its big!
