Did I already do this one? Computer seems to be crashing, so I have to be quick.
Amazingly beautiful place, at least as far as the old town goes- Prague, aka Ankh-Morepork- looks straight out of a costume drama as the snow falls. The New Town is not so nice, with a Tesco Megastore overlooking all, but fortunatly I don't have to go there much. Inexplicably, my hostel is located right on the fringes of the city, in the former grasp of the Eco Freindly Communist Bloc- it's like a cross between Gotham city and a cube. Railway tracks everywhere.
The people here are surly, the food nice and everything is so very cheap. Ten pounds seems to be about a thousand Crowns or more, and you can eat a three course meal for a tenth of that. Of course, it's a theoretically dangerous place- actually, I found East London scarier. The most frightening thing so far has been the realisation that Supermarkets really do rule the world.
