Hope by the time you read this, you will have arrived safely in Bangkok. The time just seems to be flying since you finished work.
I think Tom was due to get his holidays yesterday or today so it must feel very strange for him. No doubt he will have to spend much of his summer there going through all his years of clutter !! It really was a huge part of his life but c'est la vie!!!
Everyone is well in Dundalk thank God. Jenny was playing Touch Rugby for Ireland last weekend They didn't win but she felt really honoured to be allowed to play as she hasn't been training for very long.
Claire and Dave will be two years married on Monday so they are off to the Sheraton in Athlone in the morning to celebrate ! Somehow it seems much longer to me than two years ago.
Stuart is heading to Limerick with a gang in the morning as Dundalk are playing there. They are staying overnight.
No more news really. Very busy at work but it's always like that this time of year. Will sign off for now. Enjoy Bangkok !!

I did more city sightseeing today- lots of views of the opera house. I'm after watching a rugby league game on tv here in the hostel and its 10 o clock now so I'm goin to bed and will put up the blog tomorrow!
Mam
Hopefully that rain wont spoil your day. Down to your last few days down under now! Enjoy them. Reality is lurking.

My Internet is almost gone- I just have enough left to leave this message! I got to Sydney alright anyway. It rained most of the day so I went for a snooze in the morning and then went on a free walking tour of the city which was good. There's wifi downstairs in the hostel so I should be able to upload the blogs in the morning. I'm just too lazy to do it now! I was going to go to Bondi beach or Manly beach tomorrow but its forecast to rain again so I don't think there's any point. I'll see in the morning what I'll do for the day

Hi Lorraine! 5 weeks from tomorrow and you will back in Ireland! We are all looking forward to seeing you in the flesh!. You seem to be having a real holiday at the moment. I have n't been feeling great with a tummy for the past 2 days and am fed up with it. I am not a very patient patient!. Feeling a bit better today, but its not gone yet- hopefully it will have cleared up over the w/end. There isnt much news here: The end of year Mass is on at school on Tuesday and they will be making a presentation to Tom (he does n't know about it) so all the family have been invited: Of course panic stations for me- what am I going to wear- things never change! It will be nice but I think very emotional so I'm not really looking forward to it. Just this morning he said to me that its hard to believe
a career can fly by so quickly! Eimhin got his TP results yesterday and got 75%, so that gives him 71% overall and a 1.1 in the TP. He is relieved all his hard work paid off. His
Irish exam is July 8th.: an Aiste, Litir and Grammar: I hope that does n't trip him up. If he gets on well at that, he will probably get a 2.1 overall. Mam is getting the bag packed for next Friday and is really looking forward to the holiday- it was great that dad could get off.
Muireann is finishing school on wednesday and flying out with Jeffrey and Sorcha to Portugal on thursday- I think she is going to be wrecked! Eimhin is playing at the Body & Soul Festival in Ballinlough Castle, Co. Meath this evening. He is getting a tent ready. It is pouring rain and is promised bad for the night- that should be interesting- will he ever learn? Caroline is correcting, so they decided to go away this weekend: They are in Clifden, so I hope its better there than it is here but sometimes, that is the case! It is such a balls for Fiachra- he has been working like a trouper- Sheep shorn, sileage cut and in, and turf nearly dry: he got lovely weather for all that. Then takes 2 days off and it rains!. I think that's all the news I have here. Hope your cold is better soon. Enjoy the rest of the trip and keep the blogs coming- I enjoyed reading them and it will be a wonderful record for you after. Looking forward to you arriving home!

Mam
Well Lorraine you seem to be having a great time! It makes me so jealous reading about the lovely beaches, Blue sea, night skies. I know I would love it. We are kinda back to the cold weather and rain here. Shell surprised us by coming home for the weekend for Fathers day tomorrow. Cliona headed for Boston this morning so we sat around chatting last night for a while. Today, Shell and I went to Galway for football boots and a few bits like that. We met Mary Crad and had a nice lunch sitting outside so I thought I was on my holidays! Dad went to the bog for a while today so you are missing that but you might just make it here in time to bring it home! Won,t you love that. So enjoy the next step of your trip. Take care.

Margaret- you'd loads of news there! I got the message from Sonna alright about the new school- will be great if I see it! She'll told me about the holiday alright so I'm sure she'll be looking forward to it! I didn't know about the VEC's- that will be big changes!! I don't think I will have changed at all really! I still think I'm exactly the same as I was except I'm in different places!! When I got back to phone coverage I got the message from Mary so I'm delighted for them that all has worked out! I wonder if there's a job going now?!?! I presume it will all go to the panel anyway. Good trip to the Whitsundays there so you can await the blogs!
