Upon arrival to our hotel, the royal paradise ($30 australian per night) we were welcomed by bell boys who took our luggage, of
which one guy carried two of our 18kg bags up the stairs at one time.. and since panda, derek and i can only j ust carry one bag, we
stood back in amazement and gave snaps to the dude as he reached the top of the stairs.

Now for $30 in oz, you usually cant even get a decent hostel, however, here in phuket we got a 5 star hotel, true weve been upgraded,
but its still freakin awesome!! 2 huge pools, one with a swim up bar, a giant lounge with a lounge band and many a restaraunts.. nice!
after checking in we decided to explore, we headed to the main street of phuket,.. big mistake at night as there are many a people trying
get your business, trying to convince you there meals are better, there shoes are better, there bags are better.. but we made it through
the maze of people crossed the crazy roads and got a lager, which in phuket is the same price for a stubby as it was for a tally in bangkok.. 79 baht
which is less then $3.00 australian.. but it was a rip.. we were not happy, so we made our way to the local convenience store where we
bought a few tallies for $40 baht each.. much better! oh by the way on the way to the local convenience store.. we stumbled into phukets
gay street.. we were walking through, didnt even realise, saw a sign that said man on man massage. then another bb boys etc.. and
then we saw a bunch of ppl up the street in beautiful formal dresses.. and as we walked closer we were each admiring the dressed and
as we admired, eyes moving from the dressed up to the faces we saw the mega make up realised we were looking at 10 - 15 drag queens..
we kept walking and a little further down the road found a street bar, where all the guys were sitting there in their tighty whities..
it was pretty entertaining. anyways we got back to the hotel and were shagged, we hung out for a little bit, but soon fell asleep.

which brings me to today.. or yesterday, since its eary in the morning.. because of the dark dark curtains, we all slept in not realising
how late it actually was. unfortunately we forgot about our free breakfasts,, which ended at 10, so we headed out to phuket, which like
bangkok was totally different of a daytime. we ended up at beachside restaurant for breakfast, it was beautiful, crystal clear, blue blue
water, and white sand. . it was a bit touristy but it was beautiful, so we had a bite to eat, downed a cocktail and a couple of beers and
headed back to the hotel where we chilled and eventually headed down to the pool and swim up bar for a few more beers until it closed
at 7, so after showering we headed back down to the main street of phuket for a bite to eat.. i ordered what i thought was a medium hot
thai meal.. but oh my god!! my mouth has never burnt so bad in my life.,. nothing helped water, rice.. waiting for time to pass.. it just
kept burning.. i eventually had to very quickly walk back to the footpath ask one of the annoying thai dudes who convinced us
to eat at their restaurant to help me cross the crazy road, so i could get an ice cream and calm the fire in my mouth.. thankgod for cookies
and cream iced cream.. yum.. after that we did a little more looking around and checked out some shops.. from there we made our way home
and ive been blogging since... im not sure what the day is today.. but we check out today or tomorrow.. hopefully one of the other guys
will know when we have to catch our next plane
