Day 25 - 7th Cortez (Utah) to Flagstaff (Arizona)Navajo Nation (day of many sights)This would have to be most scenic days ridden in the US as I headed south towards Phoenix. It started out by heading north and then west back to the main highway as I could head towards 'Valley of the Gods' in Utah. Day 24 - 6th August Moab (Utah) to Cortez (Colorado)Every OpportunityWoke up early to head out for a hike with a some Harley guys (sorry fell's, I'm terrible with names) to Arches Nat Park. Actually we agreed to start out at 6.00am from the RV Park but my watch was still out an hour from further north, so it turned out to be a 7.00am start. Day 22 - 4th August Colorado Springs to Gunnison (Colorado)Highest Point 2Pikes Peak was my mission for the day. It stands at about 4300 meters high and it consists of tar and gravel all the way to the top.A race called the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, held every July, has been held on the mountain for the past 80 years and it's an opportunity I couldn't miss.The altitude made me a little dizzy but the views from that height were amazing, I was lucky it was a clear day...
