Hello from Bucharest,the place for cheap living but mad drivers,not getting a great vibe from the city,recommend heading out of town for the sight seeing.Romanian countryside is stunning especially as we travelled through the Translyvanian mountains,no bears were spotted,apparently this is the time of year when they come out of hibernation,so there is bears in the woods,its true.The good news is they hunt for their food during the day so i'm, feeling reassured in my thin canvas tent at night that seperates me from the stars at night.We're on a campsite tonight,hot running water will be close by,just went three days without a shower mmm...........

Had a few crazy days getting here,camping on rough ground off the beaten track,passing the lives and homes of many locals,i do believe time has forgotten this country,it seems to be living the modern world twenty years behind us.It has come over as a poor country where they are scrapping by a way of live,some looked happy some looked miserable.Its great hanging out the truck waving to everyone giving them something to talk about around the tea table when they get home,hey did you see the big orange truck go the road!

The first night of bush camping the locals invited us down and made us welcome with drink that was leathal but you had to have it.The speciality was melting pig fat onto chopped onions on bread over an open fire,it tasted so great,proper stuff.The second night was spent by a river where a local farmer seemed to be roaming with a herd of sheep grazing the field.That was a cracking night we cooked over an open fire and then got all toasty after dinner talking telling stories late into the night,such a good laugh.

I have meet an amazing bunch of people and i don't even know them yet!!
