Hello all!

Had a great time in Brisbane. We visited Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, where we got to feed Kangeroos, and have a cuddle with a Koala :O) The cricket was good fun. Lee had to explain the objective/rules of the game, and after a while I actually understood it, although it didn’t seem many people were watching it, more people were hurling abuse at the security man for stealing our blow up ball, and boo’ing the cops for arresting people in the audience!! Haha! Then we had a few drinks back at Birdee NumNum at the Hostel. Me and Louise went to a bar called “Cloudland” which was pretty cool. Lee & Benton couldn’t get in, as you had to have a collared shirt, so they went back to Birdee’s (much to their relief!) We had to catch our coach in the morning so Louise dropped us off at the bus station, where we said our goodbyes and set off for Noosa!
Noosa is pretty cool. Reminds Lee of Florida Keys - houses on the interlinking rivers/water ways. We hired kayaks one day and kayaked around the million dollar houses on the water front! Our hostel is pretty much like someones house, which we just share with a few other people. We have our own double room - finally a really comfortable bed that doesn’t squeak every time you move!! Like the one in Brisbane and Byron, Open plan kitchen and lounge with tv/dvd, sofas, dining table, balcony! We went to Australia Zoo on Monday, as they offered a courtesy pick up bus in Nossa. It was pretty cool, saw lots of animals, and crocs (obviously). We had our photo taken with a Python!! Eeekk!! You can see the fear in my eyes in the photo - haha!!! Spanks Nicola and Ryan!! We went for a walk yesterday through the Noosa Heads National Park, walking along the coastal path, visiting lots of little bays and inlets along the way. We saw a monitor lizard or two!! One of them was huge!! From then on I was a nervous wreck keeping my eyes peeled for any movement in the bushes, lol! Im such a chicken!! Lee volleyed a rock and split his big toe and toe nail! Silly boy! Today is our last day, as we get picked up bright and early in the morning for out Fraser Island tour - were so excited!! Were storing our bags here while were away, and then when we return from Fraser Island we will be staying here for one more night, then were off to Hervey Bay! Will write again after Fraser’s.
