Sunday 5 August we left Rome and headed south to Sorrento. From here we could visit Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. After travelling a few hours from Florence we arrived at Camping Tiber a van park situated along the banks of the Tiber River. Some people we met along the way recommended this park to us. There is a free shuttle bus from the park to the train station which then is a 20 minute ride into Rome. By the time we arrived in Florence (around lunchtime), we were all very tired and very cranky! We should have gone and done some grocery shopping but I wasn't interested. Saturday 21 July we arrived in Ameglia Italy, which is just south of the Cinque Terre. The van park had a large pool area, a bar and a disco every night for the kids.
