Stellenbosh, and the waterfront!
Well ive been a bit of a tourist the last couple of days, i got picked up on sunday morning form the backpackers and we headed to stellenbosh which is ver famous for its wine, a beautiful place to see, the shades of green from all the vine yards and grapes everywhere. We visted stears, which is just outside the town famouse for stears wine, from there we went to the town itself which is a nice quite town out of season, it has alot of unitiversity's and alot of students. From there back to cape town to the house im staying at which is lovely. Nice to hear a scotish acent again from the lady im staying with!
This morning ive been sorting my photo's, its amazing when i look back on them and see things id forgot id done, all that time ago at the game reserve! This afternoon we headed to the waterfront, it was extremly hot in town today (found out that it was 37!!) the waterfront is full of boats, resturants and shops, desinged for the tourists and people coming of big cruize ships! With table mountain in the background its a nice spot, and its really nice to see the famous waterfront!
Once we got back to the house i was straight in the pool for a while as the sun begun to go down, i still can get over how im now hear and exploring cape town! The city is very big, with the road works for 20.10 and adverts for the world cup... its teasing me!! Alot of hotels and posh appartments designed for the stars!
Really looking forward to tomrow as i will be exploring the coast that cape town has to offer!
