We made it onto the plane without incident. Daisy was dropped off at the Downtown Dog Lounge with strict instructions to euthanize her at the slightest sign of trouble. We again declined the option to "entice her to eat with beef tripe if she isn't eating well." If they want to clean up the diarrhea, be my guest. I seriously doubt that daisy will starve herself. But if she does, I hope she goes fast at $47 per day.

Thankfully, we are seated by the F family. This will allow me to wear my eye mask, ear plugs, and mouthguard without shame when it's time to go to sleep on the plane.

My loyal seat companion JLK is prepared with crossword puzzles galore. And we downloaded a couple of movies at the gate (got to love technology.) Nancy Drew and Natl Lampoon's Vacation. All set for a quick 10 hour trip over the pole to Frankfurt.
