We are enjoying our train ride from Paris to Orleans. Little did we know that I had left my credit card in a cafe in Gare Austerlitz back in Paris. Bye bye card! Fortunately, I realized it quickly when I bought food in Orleans. Dear Robin did not say a single cross word about it (got to love that guy.). Jane figured out how to call the bank because I could figure it out. And, after 20 years of our paying annual fees, the bank graciously agreed to mail a new one to our hotel, supposed to arrive next week. No one had charged anything to the card by the time that we called. Here's one hitch: we only have one credit card account, so no functioning credit card until we get the new ones. Now we are paying cash and sponging off our friends. It's best to travel in packs!

Billie L. Krause I could do that..leave my card. I've forgotten my purse with several cards since I've been back in Boundary County. I don't carry the numbers to call with me. They are at home in my file.l
