Arrived in Hue on 16th after a not so bad train journey and checked into the 'Gold Hotel' which was very nice! Weather still raining while we looked round Pagodas, museliums and a collesium with our amusing guide, Phoung! Had a good dinner the first night in Hue at this local restaurant run by a deaf and dumb man and his family, he was very friendly though and used pictures to communicate! All the walls were covered in messages from other travellers so of course we added our own! Went to my first proper backpacker bar, DNZ, beer was under 50p!! Brilliant! (Don't worry Mum I didnt get drunk!) Hue is a goregous quiet little town compared to the busy streets of Hanoi, but it was a shame the weather was so wet! xx Yet again I apologise for the lack of photos, I promise I will get some up soon!
