Wow well just got back form a couple of days in far north Queensland, Cape Tribulation! We went to the Daintree rainforest, swam in the most gorgeous gorge and then searched for crocs on the Daintree river! We saw about 4, but they were only small ones the bigguns were obviously hiding.... We planned on going paddle trekking up there too, but the weather was too wet and the creek too high so we couldnt get there! I have never seen so much rain, trust me to get here in the wet season!! ha ha! still really hot though. I start my advanced dive course tomorrow, a liveaboard on the great barrier reef which will be good fun! I cant wait! And get this...im out last night dancing away in the local dive of a nightclub and i see a guy that looks like Ben, my housemate from uni, and then i realise - 'no way it is Ben....what the hell is he doing here in Cairns!!' And it turns out hes travelling down the east coast for a few months to Melborne on the same bus pass as I am which is crazy! but cool!
