Hi! After Vientianne we set off on a long bus journey to a little village called Hin Boun where we stayed for the night. It was pretty special with lots off Laos kids coming to play with us! There were hundreds of them and I tried to learn a Laos clapping song, but not sure how well as I am sure they were all laughing at me! We also got the chance to go down the Mekong in a boat made from a bomb shell which was pretty cool, although the weather was getting cloudy so didn't get to see a good sunset. Our family and guide, Ghee, cooked us a feast and then we were made beds with mossie nets, although I was a bit disturbed to find a cockroach in one!! But I kept my cool, you'll all be proud of me! Awoke very early thanks to all the cockerels and cows, and prepared for a 12 hour bus journey through into Vietnam... xx
