Cuzco is beautiful.....!
Staying at a great hostel called Loki. It's sooooo hot in the day and pretty cold at night. Staying with loads of mates about 15 of us every night it's cool. Wandered into town today to see the Plaza de Armas it's so gorgeous.
Inca Trail 1 week today eek can't wait.
Food is so much better in Peru than Bolivia which makes us happy.
The reed islands were so amazing but very exploitative, the lonely planet described them as a Disneyland which was fairly spot on. We got a ride on a traditional reed boat which was so impressive. The island president was a bit 'special' we half expected him to start dribbling. They each take one traveller into their reed house and take some pictures then take you to their 'stall' to buy random handmade stuff. Adds got some tapestry type thing, to keep his passport in apparently. It's quite impressive stitching anyway.
Got a game of beer pong, whatever that is, planned for tonight and then nit sure what tomorrow.
Were doing some volunteering whilst we are here, next Fri we are going to a village wiped out by the floods to help rebuild houses and then another day we are going to a different village to hand out juice and water and play with the children. Should make up for all the binge drinking we have been doing.
That's all for now, maybe blog again before inca train but if not it'll be a while, we get back 6th aug.
Speak soon lots of love the intrepid travellers xxxxx

Dad Hey, yeah, go do a bit of work instead of all the partying!! Good news about the food, hate you both to waste away. Pity the reed islands didn't live up, but they have to make a living. Don't worry if you don't get chance to blog us up. Just go and enjoy your Inca Trail, say hi to Machu Picchu for me, say hi to Adds for me too. Have a wonderful trek, take it easy, you have altitude and I don't suppose it's the easiest terrain either. Enjoy your beer pong (?) tonight. Love you, big hug xXx
