Hi everyone, we´ve now eventually left Cusco. After booking in for one night and staying for a month and two days......! Crazy, we ended up working behind the bar which was quite possibly the most fun we´ve ever had.
We also did a stint of volunteering for a project in Cusco which was amazing, we did a combination of things, one was hauling around huge mud bricks which will eventually help to build a community centre for three villages and the second was teaching English to a class of children aged between 6 + 14. That was amazing, they were so cute and adorable.
Aside from hosting/working on various themed nights in Loki (Friday 13th, Childrens party, Thai full moon party) we don´t have much else to report.....!
So, last night we got our posh bus to Arequipa which was great, huge leather reclining chairs.......tasty!! We arrived at Point hostel at about 6am and got our heads down for a bit. The hostel is fab, they have rabbits running around the place, a big garden with hammocks and a hot tub.....!
Just wandered around the centre today with Adds and now we need to sort our lives out and figure out how we can get the 3 day bus to Buenos Aires to then visit two other places all in the two weeks we have left in South Americe (sad face). NZ in two weeks eek time is flying.
Love to you all as always xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
