We caught the coach from Waitomo around lunch time to Rotorua, arriving around 3pm. Eric (american) and I then headed around Rotorua checking out the stink (!) and the area, for the next 3 hours or so. Feet killed! Walked around the lake. Rotorua is built on a volcanic area and has all this crazy bubbling sulfer stuff everywhere oozing out of the ground, water etc. We then checked out the local Pak-a supermarket and grabbed some dinner.

Decided wouldnt get used to the smell enough to live in Rotorua.
