Getting back up to speed
We're kicking back in a cottage in Cornwall after a day of enjoying the English Autumnal sunshine, which can only mean one thing - time has whizzed by and nearly 3 months have passed since we got home from India.
Having worked for 7 weeks (and Sam for 9) we clearly feel that we've justified another break away!Saying that, it has been a busy few months catching up with everybody and getting back into work.Having only been back in the country 2 weeks Sam was standing by Will's side as best man as he married Ali.On seeing all of our friends again we realised not much changes in 7 months - apart from the children - the babies were now crawling, the toddlers were now running and pregnant bellies were now babies.
After a busy reintroduction to modern city living and gradually being reintegrated into society we got used to the pace of life, the speed everyone walks and sheer amount of slow traffic (at least in Asia the high volume of vehicles moved fast). We've spent several weekends remembering how much we enjoy London and spending time with our friends and families. We're fully back into the flow of working again and have started trying to get fit again boxing.
This week has let us remember all of the things we loved about being away and the parts of our lives in England that we also love.2010 has been an amazing year (still with 2 months left to go!) and we're eagerly making plans for 2011.
