HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIZ!!!!! I hope you have a really wonderful, fun, happy and smiley day...a bit like every other 'Liz day' I suppose but just that little bit more special and exciting! I hope its not too bad being so far away from everyone you love on your special day. I'm sure everyone will be thinking of you and then you can have a big party to make up for it when you get back...I will do my best to arrange a flashing dance floor for you but no promises!! So, is it now safe to say that you're actually in your late 20's?! Sounds scarey but its fine really because you don't look a day over 18. I'm sorry I haven't sent you a card but I don't think it would ever reach you with the info I have about your location, I hope you'll forgive me! Anyway, again I'm waffling so I'll just wish you a very happy birthday again and hope you're well. Lots of love, Kate xxx

Thanks Granny, we properly celebrated my birthday on saturday when we went to a NZ band concert in Christ Church and on to boogie in a club which had a flashing dance floor (my favorite kind of dance floor I've decided!) Cheryl bought me a carrot cake today and put candles on it for me to blow out, this evening we are going out for dinner so all is well. We don't want to overdo the celebrating too much though because we have an 11 hour flight tomorrow and I remember all too well how I felt doing a long haul flight after Dave and Sheetala's wedding - lesson learned!!!!
Granny
Hi Liz! Before she left for South Africa I asked your Mother for your EMail address but of course, she forgot to give it to me and in the last minute flurry of my departure, I forgot to remind her. Oh well! I'll just have to say, 'Many Happy Returns of the 14th' here on the message board. I don't have to tell you to have a wonderful day - all your days are wonderful. However, you could try to put in just that something different to make the day extra special. I follow your adventures as best I can and when I was in Wroughton at the beginning of the month you Mum and I had a session with your photographs. Wow! Continue to have fun and I'll look forward to seeing you when you retrn and hearing about those amazing adventures first hand. Loads of Love
Liz And Cheryl
hello! all is well here but we just wanted to make sure you were all okay too and not being blown up by terrorists on flights to America. On a note of self pity if anyone wants to send me (Liz) a little message it would be much appreciated, Ian went home yesterday and its my birthday on tuesday and I'm miles away from home, poor me... enough of that though we are planning how to stay alive and keep track of all our worldly goods in South America, any tips? Oh, one other request what is Mark Sherratt's web address, you know the one where he puts his daily pictures?

Chez
Well...DO NOT FEAR....I live to tell the tale of the great 'Nevis' bungy. It was one of the best things I have ever done and I am now thinking about doing a second jump today called 'The Ledge' where you can be harnessed around your waist allowing you to run and jump...I quite fancy jumping Austin Powers style (you know where he jumps into the time tunnel)!! However after a night of birthday celebrations I am feeling a little rough! Thanks to the 'Stray' gang for making it a good'n!
Bryony Speck

you HAVE to have a ferg burger, we went for one to celebrate Chez's birthday today after she jumped the Nevis bungy and it was so yummy. She was fantastic bungy jumping and put all those whimpy bit blokes to shame being all smiley and fearless throughout - I was so proud! Thank goodness she didn't die because travelling without her would be rubbish! Can't wait to see you tomorrow, we will be pottering about the discovery lodge hostel doing washing and updating the website so come and seek us out in room 115. If not we are moving to the Black Sheep on Friday morning but I am going to meet Ian at the airport at 12pm if you can't find me. That sounds all good about the hostel rooms well done for sorting it out. See you soon xx
