hello Phil! Long time no see (and I know I haven't been in the country for months and months but long time even so!) I am ALWAYS wondering how your three are doing too, it has been years since I've seen them last and I still miss them. So how are my Troutlets, not so Troutletish any more I imagine. I would love some photos, my email address is [email protected]. Pass on my hugs for me.
Phil
Hey Lizzie,
I bumped into your Mum and got an invite for tea - My three are ALWAYS asking about you. So now I know!
Photos are stunning and you look good too. Glad you're having such fun. Drop me a reply I'll send a few shots of Gabby and the boys.
Luv ya loads, Phil.

Hello! Glad you two made it to Chile ok. Bet it's a little warmer there? Just back from Gran Canaria, it was high 30s all day long. Felt ok, only a little sick. Been bad again since I got back. Think I need to stay on holidays for the next 5 months!! Bought a new car. Pick it up sept 1st. Quite exciting. Dad bought a house- even more exciting! Been baby shopping. Bought cot bumper, quilt, mobile, changing mat etc. all in winnie pooh. Even bought first maternity dress yesterday as going to 2 weddings over next two weeks. Look too fat in next clothes size up, not quite a bump yet just look really bloated and feeling fat! No idea what to wear over next few weeks. Can't fit into much comfortably. I know it's going to get much worse! Went to Bristol zoo on wednesday whcih was cool. Not really done much else. Weather a bit disappointing really. Hope it gets better soon or my tan will fade before term starts again. Only 2 weeks left of hols! Anyway, enjoy your Spanish lessons and speak soon xxxxx

Thanks mum I love and miss you both too! May I just thank you though for making my first Spanish lesson extra tricky. For some inexplicable reason our teacher focused on our parents, where they come from, where they are now and what they do as a job - I can't even explain half that stuff in English! It was good for a giggle anyway. Looking foreward to chatting when you get home I've got skype here and we are a mere 5 hours behind you - yey! xxxxxx
Mum
Since I have been publicly reprimanded for failing to give granny your email address (sorry, Liz, sorry mum!), I hereby promise to look out Mark Sherratt's webpage URL the moment I land back in the UK on Saturday. As my other (more private emails) have told you, dad and I are having a fantastic time here in S. Africa. This is a country worthy of a visit and it is a shame that you flew right over the top on your way to Santiago. Never mind, perhaps another time! While I am at public confession, I also apologise for not posting a birthday message here for all to see. I suppose that the more discreet sending of packages and e-cards, emails and other forms of communication are poor substitute for telling all and sundry how much we love and miss you. So ........................ We love and miss you! We are very much looking forward to your return, but don't want to hurry away the next 3 months of adventures and experiences. So keep on having fun and we look forward to the next installment of chez and liz's great world adventure. xxxxxxxxxx

Just to let you all know that we have arrived safely here in Santiago, SA and have managed very well so far seeing as neither of us has any grounding in spanish. But...do not fear...tomorrow we start spanish lessons- an intensive 5 day course so hopefully we will be able to pick up some basics ready for heading to Argentina in a couple of weeks. We will keep ypu updated so you know we are still alive!! xoxoxox
