Hey! We made it! well done us! We have navigated our way to a small, obscure, hidden hostel negotiating planes, busses and subway, with we add NOBODY speaking english! You can see from our photo album we are happy, yet do not be fooled that smile actually hides the excruciating pain caused by having everything but the kitchen sink in our backpacks!! Liz has lost 5inch in height (she cannot afford to shrink anymore!) and I feel as though I sweated out 6lbs just walking up the stairs from the tube station!! We are gonna have bums of steel by the end of the year YAY! We have already planned our social agenda with a dinner date set up for weds night with a very young whipper snapper named Lai (we think...I'm just gonna call him Bob!) Dont worry we spent 9 1/2 hours on the plane interrogating him...he's not an axe murderer! Which is nice! Well since we got here we have slept...for 5hrs d'oh didnt mean to do that. However, we have been for our very first authentic chinese..dumplings and noodle soup..Mmm not like home at all! We were also glad to be the local entertainment with our fantastic chopstick eating skills! We have agreed that soup was a bit adventurous for a first meal with sticks!! Well..we are off for a early night as to be raring to go to the great wall in the morning! Its going to snow tomorrow! woohoo! Nighty night!xxxx
