15th October 2009 - 17th October 2009:

The sleeper bus to Nha Trang seemed to be the worse one so far, the roads were very windy and bumpy and we spent what felt like the entire trip wide awake holding on for dear life. However we weren't too worried about our lack of sleep given our plan for Nha Trang was to basically chill out and enjoy the beach for a couple of days.

It was also another opportunity for Sean to build up his tan, which unfortunately was still very farmerish! Liza on the other hand spent her time wrapped up in the shade for fear of progressing to 3rd degree burns stage. We spent the day chilaxing and sleeping on the beach, only occasionally awaking to say no to the numerous woman & children trying to sell us cigarettes and mentos sweets. Unfortunately, we did have to give in eventually when one young girl came back to Sean insisting that he buy something as apparently he had earlier told her that he would buy something 'later'. He had only said this to get rid of her so he could relax in piece but neither of us counted on her actually remembering….. oops!

The following day was just further beach time but on this occasion we did manage to find a private section of beach which was connected to a fab restaurant & bar - we just sat their feasting on smoothies and fresh fruit until dinner.

On our last day in Nha Trang it rained so we were unable to go to the beach, instead we arranged for a late check out and spent the day watching old movies. Overall, Nha Trang was just the chill out we needed and we are now off to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) for more mayhem.
