Day 86

Hello from Australia! Apologies for not updating you sooner, but I have been enjoying three "relatively" quiet days in Melbourne, and the luxary of not having to repack every day!

I arrived from Christchurch on Sunday (Happy Easter by the way - I hope you all had a fantastic long weekend) and have managed to catch up with lots of friends and enjoy some shopping time! I was suprisingly restrained, and only bought things I actually need...

Yesterday Kat and I went into Melbourne and had a fabulous day doing lots of exciting things. We met a friend for lunch and went to the movies and in the evening we went to the Melbourne Comedy Festival which was fantastic! We saw two different comedians - the first was good but the second (Jason Byrne) was fantastic! I lauged for an hour solid, which was great:) In between all of that we went to the Monash Medical School Bookshop in Melbourne and I was amused to see that Kumar and Clark, and the cheese and onion are the two reccommended texts! (Apologies to all the non-medics to whom that means nothing).

I'm off to Nauru today to do some more medicine and will be back in two weeks time; I don't know what internet access is like there so if you don't hear from me - I promise to be in touch as soon as I can!
