Day 56

Two amazing days inthe Gold Coast, enjoying some more sunshine and the theme/water parks:) We have had two full days in the sunshine and I have had my fill of adrenalin highs! I even converted Kat to the "big" rollercoaster - and then we rode it 3 times! That's upside down 6 times in one day.... I also did the "big drop" - the clue is in the name - 38 storeis of free fall! The view from the top was fantastic... I closed my eyes on the way down though!!

The water park was fantastic as well, with some vertical drops - which is a strange sensation whilst sitting in a rubber ring! We had lots of fun, and enjoyed cooling off...

Otherwise, the beach here is fabulous and lives up to the golden name - it really is spectacular. It is nice to be further south than the sting rays as well - it is safe to swim!

Tomorrow we are going zorbing... for those who don't know, it involves sitting/standing in a giant rubber ball which rolls down a hill.

Off for a night out tonight, the huge number of Irish mean it should be good fun - the St Patrick's day party has already begun!
