Livo's adventure
Hello All,
Well I am here in Sunny, Sunny Sydney. It is hot here and experienced my first few days of Australian Beaches. We went to Manly Beach a couple of days ago, and Bondi Beach yesterday. The beaches are amazing beautiful golden sands with great scenary around them. It was so hot yesterday sheldon burnt his eye lid as we fell asleep in the sun for a while, he is in a bit of pain today. Tan is coming on now so should be pretty black in a few months time. We Have also done all the sights round here, the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, The Tower, The Rocks. Experienced the hectic life off the city. It is just like London really on a hot day-All the time. It is very busy with lots of Foreigners and the most tramps I have ever seen in one place.
As a city I probably prefer Melbourne, but there is a lot more to do and see here that in that sense Sydney is better. We are in a great location in our hostel about a 5 min walk into city centre and it is by far the best one yet. Great people here, we got brilliant luck with our room, another 8 bed dorm, however it is on the end of the building so we have a balcony over looking the city which is amazing at night. We also have an ensuite bathroom, and for $135 a week it is great value. We have done most the nights out with them too, Went to a really good club Monday night, packed. Had a wine and cheese night on the roof top Wednesday night and Last night we did a bar crawl which was very cheap with loads of free drinks in the bars. Today is boiling probably the hottest day here. We went into Newtown earlier on this afternoon, not really much there but good to see. Been on the trains, buses and ferries to get to various places here, all run frequently haven\'t waited long for any yet. In a couple of hours me and Sheldon are going over the road opposite our hostel to play football with the other hostel boys in the Domain overlooking the city, should be a good laugh ( we are gonna look really keen in our moulds ha ha). We are then having a barbie on the roof top tonight. Tomorrow is Blue Mountains which is supposed to be amazing, then Sunday is our last day here, hopefully fit in Palm beach (where Home and Away is fimed) then chill out and watch the sun set over the Harbour and Opera House in the evening. Off to Byron Bay on Monday, we have booked a ticket with the Oz Experience up the East Coast which cost $780 has lots of days out included in it, we have surfing lessons paid for when we get to Byran Bay (the waves here are huge, I mean massive). The tour up the coast is also guided so it seems a very good deal. It also includes a few nights accomodation in various areas. Going to call Russ today to sort out when is best to meet him, looking forward to that.
Anyway I shall look forward to telling you more exciting stories soon!
Happy Birthday Had!
Love Chris x
