Ouuuuuuuuuuuuch!! My leeeeeeeeeeeeeeegs!! Walked the whole of the Cinque Terre hiking trail today. From Riomaggiore to Monarolo to Corniglia to Vernazza to Monterosso! Phew! And the direct ocean path from Monarolo to Corniglia is currently closed to we had to take a LONG detour up & around the mountains, which added at least an extra hour, a km or so, & God knows how many stairs onto our journey. Yesterday was another long travel day. I took the train from Nice to Ventimiglia, Ventimiglia to Genova, Genova to La Spezia, & finally La Spezia to Riomaggiore. I left the hostel in Nice around 8:00AM & finally made it there by around 4ish in the afternoon! But time flies surprisingly fast with all those train changes & the beautiful scenery to look at.
