 Not sure what time it is where you are but it's still May 7th here, so Happy Birthday!  What a great way to be spending it.  I've heard from others how beautiful Vietnam is--look forward to seeing the pictures. 

 Helen and I had a wonderful time in Cincinnati and Washington DC towards the end of April, lovely weather in both places, and it was good to be with my parents.  I guess the most unique (though very sad) thing that happened was that Helen saw the funeral procession for one of the Virginia Tech victims when she was touring Arlington Cemetery.  It was very impressive; a marching band and 6 black horses pulling the carriage. 

 Stay well and enjoy the rest of your travels.

News ere is the Kirstie has a place at Camp America and is going on the 5th June, she will be in Wisconston- so she is really exited about that!

Last night we went for a curry and it was so HOT- was sweating like mad in the restaurant- I bet you have had some interesting food- eaten any live bugs or deep fried locusts?

Hi you two travelling wanderers! How good to get your Vietman news and what great stuff you are doing!  Could never have imagined you would do so much. Proud of you both and so glad you're having such fun!  Makes us all very jealous but I guess life is what byou make it and you're sure making it good!

By contrast Dad and I had fantastic time in Pisa - I went to the top of the leaning tower and it sure does lean! Had an amazing Hotel overloking the river.  Very much a student city so lots of buzz and noise!

Isn't it great new about McLaren and Francis?  Took him to a Vietnamese restaurant in west byfleet to celebrate and bond with you - but I guess you would have been sound asleep and missed the vibes??!!

 You sound like you are having a great time! it all sounds so exciting, especially when all iv been doing is ...uni work and lots of it! easter was nice and sunny which was rather exciting but now its back to boring rain! oh well! I have exams soon so got loads of revision but finish uni mid May and go to america on the 25th may so really excited about that! thats about all my news really! This website is really great for tracking your travels! ha missing you, I cant believe it was Christmas when I last saw you! even my dad asked where you were the other day as he hasnt seen you around! ha

I'm glad to hear that you are still alive and haven't been sentenced to life in prison yet, although knowing you, people are probably treating you like a Mystical God cos of the Ginger Dreads. So I should tell you that I had some good news today, McLaren finally offered me the job I wanted, so i'm over the moon about that. Breaking News from England: Prince William & Kate Middleton split up, Hugh Grant has been arrested for assulting somebody, Biggest Massacre in American history happened when a South Korean student went on a shooting spree at his University (that's been in the news for a week) & England are out of the Cricket world cup after a pretty poor display. Looking forward to hearing about your trek. I am seriously impressed at how well you are coping with all your travel arrangements and visas and doing it all legally too i presume!!

J & L, K & L back to Dubai this morning after staying for 2 days.  They saw your photos and posted a message for you but something went wrong and it didn't get through so they said they would do one when they get back.  It was really good to see them all. J now working for TatWeir and the roastery is really taking off now.

Alan back from Lourdes on Sunday evening - this time last year you were both there!  I bet it seems a life time ago.
