Hello all! I reach you from Ko Toa at present which is the north isalnd off of Thailand. After trekking we flew to Ko Samui and then boated straight to Ko Phangan. Here we stayed at a fab resort called rainbow. It was idillic, right on the beach and we stayed in little hut right by the sea. Also ever since i was a child of ever i have felt ill or sad etc i always have a reoccuring thought of being in a hammock between to palm trees on a beach with the sea lappin...

So after finally getting out of the dreaded Bangkok we got an overnight train to Chiang Mai. Where i actually managed to sleep for the first time yipee! (on a train of all places.) I also managed to keep down a banana for breakfast. So second day and secong blog already! Unfortunately today has been a bit rubbishy for me. The jet lag hit me big time and i wasn't very well...this was probably made worse by all the heat (about 33 today!....they keep telling us this is cold for them pah!) Also we wanted to go and visit the grand palace and surroundings today but apparently from today til monday its a bit manic as the prince's sister has died (i think). Therefore everything is closed for the fun...

First night and first entry! We have arrived in warm and sunny Bangkok after our 11 hour flight. Toya managed to sleep throughout most of this...i however napped and watched 3 films! The traffic here is hell and we actually got out of our taxi and walked the rest of way because it was going to take almost an hour to go round a corner! gDad would like it there are hondas and toyotas everywhere and lunatics on bikes! Got here fine thought and hotel is good. Already...
