I'm sad to say this is our last day in Australia! We have done the sights of Sydney and we are moving onto New Zealand tomorrow! We climbed up one of the pylons at Sydney Harbour Bridge and blagged a student price of $6.50. We had budgeted for the full climb but the weather hasn't been great, so there was no point! We still managed to get great pictures of the bridge and the Sydney Opera House! We also went on a night out down Oxford Street with people we met in Byron, legs are still aching from the dancing! We met up with Guro (who we met in Cairns) and went to Bondi for the day! We walked from Bondi to Coogee, the map said 1 hour, 2 n half hours later we finally arrived and we had a well deserved lunch! However, Sydney had taken it out of me so I slept for 15 hours straight (maybe I was a bit tired lol!) We met up with Rosalyn (relative) who was here for the birth of her grandson Kenzo. Congratulations to both Mum and Dad on the arrival of their new baby boy! Rosalyn took us on the ferry under the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Darling Harbour (I was so excited!) We went to the Sydney Fish Market and saw lots of huge colourful pricey fish! We then ate at the Pearl River Restaurant where scary women came round with trolleys of weird and wonderful Chinese food, thought I was gonna be force fed at one point! Those women were mad, got to taste new wonderful treats though, a huge thank you again to Rosalyn! Lunch is on me at Dobbies when we get back, lol! Rosalyn and I took a stroll around the Botanic Gardens, it was beautiful! Although i was pretty scared of the flying foxes (huge scary bats) and cockatoo's, it was safer to have my hood up when they were flying! Rosalyn has certainly shown us a different side to Singapore and Sydney! Who wants to do the tourist thing, that's boring! Lol! Today I spent some time chillin over at Manly Beach, it's beautiful! I prefer it to Sydney! It was nice to have sometime to myself to watch the world go by! I am really sad to leave Australia, I have had such a great time here! I feel very at home and relaxed here! However, on the bright side, I get to meet up with Dympna (friend) in New Zealand and I know she will cheer me up!
Speak soon!
