Monday 27 Nov We travelled by minibus from Krabi to Khao Lak, which would have been a lot shorter journey had we not had to change bus at a tourist office (i.e. where they try to get you to book accommodation/tours etc.). Sat 25 Nov We had planned on getting a boat to Krabi at 9am, but the alarm went off at 8am and we both went back to sleep so we got the boat at 2pm instead! It took about two hours on the boat, we checked into our hotel, had a walk around and ate some cheap food at the night market. Thursday 23 November We got the ferry from Phuket to Ko Phi-Phi Don. When we arrived it looked like paradise with its turquoise crystal clear water, white sands and palm trees. However we then walked into what is known as the 'tourist village' where we were staying and found that it is no secret as it is packed with backpackers.
