Our flight was at 5:55AM. 45 minutes later, we were in Santorini. We have 6 hours to kill before we can check into our room. We have walked to town twice. This time we remembered our camera and all the cables to be able to download pictures. Santorini is as beautiful as the pictures. Clean and white. Really clean and white. Lots of stairs to climb -- I mean -- LOTS of stairs. So many that even Lipton and I have had to pause now and then to catch our breath. But this place is so beautiful. The pictures we just downloaded don't come close... there was a morning mist and light haze that made everything a little drab in the pictures. We will take more as the sun burns off the mist.
