Hi all!

Surfers Paradise was a blast. It rained the whole time so we didn't really do much. We went on a pub crawl the first night I got there & that's what the photos were from. They're not pub crawls like back home though, they have really strict alcohol laws here & you're not allowed to down your drink - whatever! Sorry they're not more scenic, I'll see what I can do next time! We also went to a theme park while we were there which was so funny. I'm getting too old for scary rides, I was almost sick at one point.

Then we set off to Brisbane, stopping to do some zorbing on the way. Zorbing is when they put you in a massive rubber ball inside another rubber ball with water between the layers, they put 3 people in there & launch it down a hill. It was great fun & I've got a couple of pics to show you all. I made only a 1 night stop in Brisbane. The weather was so bad that everything just sort of came to a stand still & I could only get on this one bus so I had to go. It's ok though as I'm flying out of Brissy so I'll be back in a few weeks to catch up with Leah.

I'm now in a place called Noosa. The weather has been hot the last couple of days which is a nice change from all the rain & means we can go to the beach! Yesterday we went to the Steve Irwin zoo & it was amazing. We saw some massive crocs & I got to cuddle a koala! It was so sweet. Photos soon! We haven't really done much else, we've been waiting for the place to dry out because we're doing a 3 day kayaking/camping trip in the Noosa everglades & it wasn't safe with all the water. We're leaving to do it tomorrow - hope we don't bump into any crocs. We have to take enough to last us 3 days & Mel & Debbie have emptied out a huge water drum & filled it with vodka red bull ha ha! So should be good fun as long as we don't come across any snakes, spiders, crocs, bull sharks etc. xxxxxxxxx
