Hey everybody..

Bangkok is treating us good. Had a big night out last night. Met up with Sean and Dave again.very nice to see them again. and it was a heartbreaking moment saying goodbye. But the plan is to meet up with them in Byron Bay, Australia. We are staying at New Joes Guesthouse in Banglamphu the backpacking district in Bangkok. Our room has three beds and a small table. We have our It is near Khao San road, a street dedicated to shopping, drinking and meeting people from all over the world. last night we stumbled across two norwegians girls. It was nice to speak norwegian again with someone else. today we went to the river and took a boat downstreems. We saw the royal aplace and a couple og temples. it is funny to use the public transportation here. we have tried both the underground and the bus system as well.

Tonight I hoped to meet up with Sara and Ann Marie but it didn't happend. We did not have enough time. Ingunn bought herself a new camera today to. Cheap, cheap, cheap! I got to the Hard Rock shop and I now have a new shotglas in my collection! I just hope I can get it home in one peace! Yesterday I got two t shirts. The Khao San road is a mekka for t-shirts and beach dresses. But I can't buy them all, because I have to carry it. We are trying to book a car for our driving in Australia. We have found a cool company with vans an only hope they have any vacancy.

Tomorrow I am going to the tiger temple 3 hours outside og Bangkok. It is a temple run by monks dedicated to preserving tigers. I've wanted to go since I saw a program from the temple this summer on animal planet. Ingunn and Marthe think it is to expensive so they are staying in Bangkok. Tuesday we are going straight to the airport after checkout at New Joes. Our flight leaves for Sydney at 17.25 local time.

We are really looking forward to some tanning in Australia. Bangkok is very warm, but far from the beaches. I hear thing is starting to happend with Lene and Rolf at home. They are going to be parents veeeery soon!! And I will be a fake aunt!!hehe for those of you who doesn't know who Lene and Rolf is. Rolf is my cousin and Lene is his wife..
