Just arrived at Heathrow exactly 24 hours after leaving Tullamarine. Helen looking good as we transit to our hotel on Bayswater Rd near Hyde Park. Driver dropped us off at the wrong hotel, the Lancaster instead of the Lancaster Gate. Thought it looked salubrious. The Lancaster Gate was just a £3.80 ride away with a very nice cabbie. Good trip so far although passenger to my right is pissed because his seat mechanism has failed and he can't make it into a bed. Etihad staff while polite have failed to appease him. Plane appears full so he cannot be moved. Hope he gets a full refund. Why else would you you shell out the big bikes for Bus Class?
