Well here we are in Vienna after a seamlessly smooth journey from Bristol courtesy of Easyjet and easy it certainly was, no queue either side, brilliant. Here we are back at Tilbury after a fortnight of ups and downs. Am I glad I did this cruise? Yes. Am I glad it's over? Yes. Would I ever cruise again? NO! We've seen the Aurora Borealis, which was the reason we went. We've also seen some of the most dramatic and breathtaking scenery imaginable. Last day thank heavens! The first time I've ever looked forward to the end of a holiday and feeling particularly miserable today with this cold. Rob went to the last lecture today with Paul Barker the press photographer which he said was good, he needs to keep using the camera now to get all the info ingrained while its fresh. Picked up the duty frees and the photographs, then went back to the cabin to pack ready for the cases to be collected tonight.

They say Bergen has rain 248 days of the year, so we were so lucky when the morning fog lifted to give a lovely sunny day. We spent the morning wondering around the Bryggen, which is made up of colourfully painted wooden houses containing little souvenir shops. Another quaint little town right alongside the harbour where we spent the morning, wandering around taking in the sights during a very heavy snowstorm. In the afternoon we went on a scenic drive up the Romsdal Valley past the Troll Wall to Bjorli. Loads of snow and dramatic cliffs/ mountains.
