Spent the night at the Pia Pitch, not great, but good bar. We had driven from Helensville on the set coast and made it here by night fall. The next monring we wnet out on the Excitor, well worth the trip but not too much excitment..... driving as far south as we can today. Bay of plenty is a must..............you may be lucky and see some dolphins as we did..

We have arrived in Napier and it's pouring with rain.....so we visited the Misson Winery just ouitside the city. It was a brillinat way to spend a wet afternoon and the wine was grat too.

Rotarua, New Zealand

We arrived in Rotarua and booked into the hot rocks back packers, the best of hte brand so far. We expelonred the town and visited the Spa, but no time for treatments. We had booked on the Maori hangi trip, which was amazing.... well worth a vist, if not only for the food, but for the history of the Maori People.

Paero, New Zealand

Droved down from Bay of Island and and made it as far as Paero. Not much here, an old mining town where L and P drinks seem to have been created. Spent the night in ther Casa Mexicana, very nice and great service from freindly staff. Not much here, bit of a ghost town...........

Well it's the night beofre we leave on our adventures to Nz, Oz and Fiji. We think we are both packed, and are now rushing around doing all the bits and pieces that we have forgotten about. Tomorrow is the first day, we leave from Glasgow to Auckland, with a stop over in Dubi. Only long enough to sleep and shower, maybe next time we can do some shopping.
