If you get an oppurtunity while in Santorini make sure you hike the volcano that is still active and created Santorini and see sunset. Seeing sunset in Santorini is one of the things to do in our 2,001 Things To Do Before You Die book. Also go see the beach. It is beautiful little black pebbles as far as the eye can see. Also when in Split, Croatia make sure you do a walking tour of Diacletian's (sp)Palace. You can't miss the palace because all the shops are built into which is really cool.

Lindsey,I am so excited for you and your adventureous friends because you all are aware that this is a once in a lifetime gift you are sharing with one another and you are truly making world history come alive for all of us at home following your trip with joy knowning you are taking advantage of every opportunity to see everything in each city, walking, running, dancing, climbing, eating, and getting to know the people who make up their culture that you are so attractive to. The cuisine is different everywhere you go and the people who serve you feel differently about their gifts of the land, or their music they enjoy so much that tells you these are passionate people, or sad or fun loving lads and lassies. The merchants reflect the economy of the countryside. The customers in the different bars can educate you quickly because you easily find out if they are some of the locals or are visitors like youself. The atmosphere changes because the conversations of the travelors like yourselves add to the questions being asked of you. It becomes an exchange of enthusiastic wisdom of thought. A change of words stretched out to tell each of the countries represented in your traveling group and those of other travelors' customs when out on the town. I bet there are lots of cheers and toasts made to each other and to different causes. I will close by saying I am enjoying the blogs. I want you to enjoy every single minute as if it could be your last adventure on this earth, even though I personally know it wont be. Laugh, giggle, shed a few tears, get to know youself better, say a prayer of thanksgiving for the chance of living a lifetime in these 4 weeks of travel with your new friends, be proud of who you are and believe that you Lindsey are very special to me .

Hey Linds, I am not exactly sure where you are in your trip. Did you do a gondola ride in Venice? Do you go on top of the Duomo in Florence. It has some of the best views in the city! While you are in Rome you must must must go to Vatican City and the Coliseum. You could do everything in a day but you will be tired. Do a guided tour of Vatican City if you can(we did Angel Tours) so you don't spend your entire time waiting in line. Miss you!
