We are now in Croatia, which may be one of the most beautiful countries in the world. We have been driving along the Dalmation Coast, which is dotted with islands not far off the mainland. The drive is absolutey beautiful!!! A must see if given the opportunity. Yesterday we were in Dubrovnick, walking the high city walls, and then we took an afternoon cruise that visited two of the islands. At one, most people swam in the ocean, but i forgot my bathing suit. The second one, Lopud, it started raining, but a few of us headed to the botanical gardens which were amazing. It was a canopy of trees that sheltered us from the rain. We sat around and ate ice cream because there really wasnt much else to do without getting wet. Upon returning to the hotel, I called it an early night because I only had about 3 hours of sleep the night before, another late night and early morning.

A few days ago, we were in Albania, which was an experience of a lifetime.  Ive never seen such poverty and poor living conditions.
