These colourful bouys are used by the fishermen to mark the location of their lobster traps. Each fisherman has their own colourful design and number specific to them. We enjoyed a lobster roll for lunch at a cost of $16 which was basically a hot dog bun with fresh lobster and warm butter poured over top. Yummy.

Bar Harbor sits in a particular coastal part of the state referred to as “Down East Maine” and famous for Maine Lobster. We arrived this morning partly cloudy and 17 degrees.

We enjoyed a sampler flight for $6 and sampled 4 each of their many beers. My favourite is pumpkin head and Blaire’s was old Thumper. Definitely recommend visiting here.
