We arrived in Cordoba on a holiday monday so there wasn't much open to do, even all the shops were shut! we spent the day at the big park, sitting around, and wandered around the zoo which had far more animals than we expected! (lots of monkeys, bears, hippos, elephants, etc). we'd gotten a bit bored of eating out so cooked dinner at the hostel and drank in the bar before heading out with some others. the next day the city was far more lively so we did the touristy sites (crypt, cathedral and other touristy buildings), sat in the square for a while, and ate icecream (we debated about going on the city tour bus, but were put off as we originally thought it was some kind of mcdonalds bus seeing as it was bright red with a massive mcdonalds sign across the side of it). our bus to Buenos Aires wasn't until night, so we went back to the hostel and cooked dinner (twice in 2 days, impressive!) and played pool until it was time for the bus. we seemed to play lots of pool in cordoba, but never improved!
