Lily's Trip
We walked around 5 old villages that people still live in. There was a cemetery and a big church bell. Then we went to get tickets to get into a cave that stretches for 5 km underground. In the cave there were spikes that grew from the roof. 3 boys found the cave in 1933 when they noticed a water disappearing. The caves were scary because I thought the spikes would fall on my head. I liked the caves because the boys found them. They had to be brave. It took them 2 years to go in once they knew something was there. There was water in the caves it was very clear. After the caves we drive to Genoa. We couldn't watch 'Hairspray' again because Hannah's IPod got stolen in a hotel. I had pizza again for dinner. I love Pizza in Italy.

Nana Lily. Going in the caves would have been exciting. I loved your pics of old town & the cobblestone streets.
