We had breakfast then we did a 12 hour drive through 3 countries - Italy, Switzerland and France. Hannah and I ate some Smurf marshmallows that Dad bought in Italy. We needed to come back to Paris to return the car. We arrived at our apartment in Paris very late and we could not open the door. We tried to call Anne the landlord but she didn't pick up the phone. We chose to sleep in our car outside the apartment. We needed to use Internet and a toilet in a nearby Hotel. All the Hotels in the area were booked out. We used a towel as a blanket. Hannah and I slept on the back seat. Mum and Dad slept in their front seats. No-one tapped on our car window and told us to 'move on' which is good.
