Chris, Morghan, Ella and I bored our Air Asia jet to KL. I was very worried about flying Air Asia but it turned out they were great and I would fly them again!

We arrived in KL at 3.30am and after checking through customs etc we stopped for a very large, very needed coffee at Starbucks.
After sorting everything out we jumped in a cab, for the hour long drive to KL.
Arriving at our hotel at 6am we thought there was no way they would allow us into our room, but they did and we were fortunate to get a few more hours sleep.
We woke at lunchtime and headed to Sogo (local shopping centre) to eat, nothing exotic!
After which we braved it and took a cab to central market. Quite touristy but worth the visit, as Chris did the feet in the fish tank thing. Hilarious!!!!
With Morghan and Ella feeling hot, we headed back to the hotel for a swim.
For dinner I was desperate to try a good Malay restaurant, so we headed back to central market to a restaurant filled with antiques called precious ..... Food was Devine!!!!!

Woke up and had breakfast in our hotel, the hotel had an Islamic conference on, so breakfast was traditional. I've developed a new love of roti and Dahl for breakfast.
We then headed off to KL tower! Enjoyed the view, although it was a bit foggy! Part of the ticket included a formula one game or a trip to a little zoo. Ella was desperate to go to the zoo and I drew the short straw and got the zoo too. Very cruel, animals in little cages. Even Ella thought it was bad!!!
We then walked down to Petronius towers, but on the way we got lost for hours in the Japanese department store..... Fantastic shopping here!!!!!
Had lunch in the supermarket..... Very cool Japanese!
We then found out they had no more tickets for Petronius, so we played in the the south bank type park outside, then headed back to the hotel for a swim.
For dinner we went to a shopping centre food court full of these amazing restaurants. We choose this Iranian restaurant and we weren't disappointed!

Breaky at the hotel once more.
This morning at Ella's request we headed to the bird park!
Much better than the little zoo, and many birds fly freely in the giant Avery, except those that attack! I'm kind of scared if birds so this was freakish! But the kids enjoyed it!
We then went to the butterfly park! This was ok but once you have seen one butterfly, you have seen them all..... Especially when you are 12 and 8.
We had a late lunch at a 1920's hotel! Very cool, and who would have thought a prawn omelette could be so tasty?
We headed back to hotel, packed our bags and had a quick swim. We caught the early transfer to the airport do we could check in and have dinner in a transfer hotel, unfortunately this wasn't the case as check in opened late, so we did the airport wander! Eventually boarding our KLM flight to Amsterdam!
