we left brisbane after 2 months of saving to start our trek back to sydney. we loved brisbane in the end, it was such a cool place. First stop was the gold coast where we stayed in the heart of surfer's paradise. The beach was awesome,huge, lined with skyscrapers and we had a few nice stays melting in the sunshine. We also hut two of the massive theme parks: dreamworld, which was so much fun and had fantastic rides, then warner bros movie world where we had fun on the scooby-doo coaster and watching the parade. liam was particularly impressed by batman and his ride. and wonder-woman obviously. i was happy i got to meet dora the explorer! we had a cool apartment in the hostel and had much fun enjoying the trashiness of surfers. oh and discovered the joys of drunken-crazy golf...
