Well here we r, this our last full day in New York, and this is whats happened so far... We got up at 7am, a little hung over thanks to the rose champagne provided by my delightfull mother:-) ( very
nice tho mom)I have to say i was brickin it, !! bt thought balls to it y not. we got in taxi which had a weird albanian driver who drove like a madman, not the best cure for alchohol induced
sickness. got through all the borin stuff at the airport an we were on our way., Flight went without glitch gdgd. We got a shuttle bus from the airport to our hostel and what an introduction to New
York, our taxi driver got out of his car and started banging on the window of this bus and bloke who were blockin the road, we thought he was gonna be shot or stabbed!! bt he didnt so drama over. The
things u first notice when u get over here is the size ov everythin, its massive, people, cars, roads, buildings, everything! Hostel is basic but cleanwhich is what we need. By the time we checked in
and settled down it was a bit late to go trekking over the whole of Manhattan, we left the hostel and fook me was it cold, i have never, ever known cold like it, we had five layers, hats, gloves and
scarves but we may aswell of walked out stark b****** naked, i think it was minus 10 c plus wind chill!! so any hu we looked around locally and found a little Itallian resturant, We had the special,
spaghettie?! bollognaise, tasty but when the bill came, the cheeky b*****s had put there tip on top ov the bill, we soon came to realise this is common practice in New York. On our first
full day we decided to attempt the subway, im gonna b really borin now but what a transport system.clean efficient and CHEAP! We went from the top of Manhattan to the bottom (brooklyn) for two
dollars, and that was three trains, they cum every two minutes aswell. we were like propper tourists today, went to times sq. had a calzone , stunnin, seen all the buildings u no how it is, look at
the photos and u will see. We also stumbled upon the sex museum which was intriuging tlo say the least, u wont believe what some people r into, sitting on cakes, bursting balloons anything! had a bit
off a cough bought some medicine took it and fell asleep atstraight away good stuff. Saturday... bought pancakes and waffles good times, thanks to my mom agen for the heads up on that one, ( shani)
panckaes, maple syrup, butter and bacon. yum... still feeling rougfh at this time so we had a movie night in our room theuy have quality films, hitch, gone in 60 seconds, oceans 11, what women
wantall on normal tv. o ye had pizza not as good as big johns in my opinion. Sunday... got downton to go anc the statue of liberty ( god bless america) but got on the ferry to staten island instead
was free, but im nt suprised absolute dump. We come out of the building to be confroted by a taxi driver shoutin at us, ''YO , YO, u guys need a tax''i, this was whilst he was basically shovin this
family into his taxi stating that he needs to make a livin and that they shouldnt b messin him around all though they quite clearly stated they didnt want one,and he came right up to our faces
demanding we took one wiv him, but when we said no he lost interest straight away got in car and cursin at every1 drove off. took a quick look at staten and left was a real dump, like the vale. Found
the right ferry for liberty island and we went to see the lady herself. Thre views from there are trully unbeleavable, it was a shame there was a bit of a mist because u can see so much, we went to
ta burger bar on the night and had proper cheeseburgers, there allso very nice, we havnt found a bad place to eat the whole time we have bin here, its so good. we went to a comedy club by little
Italy O H M Y G O D ! ! ! How unfunny can a bunch of people be?! the were about 10 people there. we were seated rite at the frontwiv a mother and daughter from Kent, and the were picking
up on the fact we were from England, every single comic thought we were a family we must of repeated ourselves 7 times. k*** . When we wenrt laughin they thought it was because we were english.. it
wasnt, they were s***e! Monday... can we find anywhere that changes travellers cheques er.. no. no bank changes them unless there in dollars, so we have both had to use our visas, we had two dollars
to our name, enough to get the subwy downtown, cause we were in a fluster we only got on on the wrong side! now we got no money and no way to travel somewher tppo get money. neva mind problem got
solved by the visas as i said. We went to ground zero and it really is a moving place, i didnt think it would be but u ave got to see it and experience it. Jade had a vanilla chai latte, its like
heaven in a cup!! we also went to Bryant park to ice skate FOR FREE.. $15 dollars for skates each, $ 7 for locker, $10 for food so bargain really. by this time is was night and we went up the empire
state building have a look at the photos, it was trully spectacular on a scale i have never seen before. Would of been very romantic aswell if it hadnt been for all the chinkys roaming around!! u
cant win them all. Headed home and ate at a greek resturant two blocks from where we are stopping, by far rhe best meal so far, worked out at a tenner wiv drinks aswell whiting fish with string beans
and garlic mash, and grilled chicken fresh spinach on a bed of linguiine, omg so cheap aswell. Tuesday.. ( not much more left to read now) Central park big dissapointment just a place for hobos to
sleep and people to jog around in there nike outfits makin u feel guilty for not doin th e same. . no little cafes or shops for food . unless u want hotdog from scaby indian or a meal at the
boathouse (kinda like the ritz) went to madison avenue where all the rich folk shop and dine..We did find a little diner where we ate, brisket of beef, and aother burger for me , once again the food
cannot be faulted. We ventured into the natural history museum( the one where Ross works in friends) $30 to get in scandal!! borin as watchin paint dry serious nothing to do but read and look at
rubbush exhibits. the only positves were the T-REX and the video u watch about evolution. Oh and the dinosaur that looked like cormac when he is asleep!, ( see if u can work out which one mom)We also
went to see STOMP! another thing u must see sometime in ur life its amazin what they can do with bits of rubbish, we also went to abar and didnt get i.d'd Jade was so English and had a PIMS and
lemonade, ( well sprite aparently the dont have lemonade like we do)the woman didnt even know what one was we had to show her! Today we are going shopping and we are gonna pack ready for New
