Barry, loved your pictures of Egypt. What an incredible experience! I would think after 800 steps up to the Monastery, it was a piece of cake to go back down. You and your family are looking very fit and tanned.... must be from all that walking. I mentioned to Gail M. (former coach) and Jack today you were keeping up with some form of swimming - although Gail didn't think floating in the Dead Sea qualified as 'training.' Looking forward to hearing about your safari.

Thanks for your message, guys. Yes, we are keeping up with your travels. I showed your classmates some of your pictures in Egypt and actually am going to hook up an LCD projector to my computer so we can look at the other ones. What are you missing.....? Not much really. It's cold. We're learning a lot of things, but not nearly as much as you're learning. Mr. Leason still annoys me on a daily basis. Miss Cairo is teaching Grade 3. We've started planning for Quebec (I assume you're still coming). You may want to start selling sea shells to pay for your trip, Connor. All of the grade 7 girls miss Tessa. And, of course, some of the girls and mostly the boys miss Connor (grade 9). I'm getting my surgery in October and will be gone for 6 weeks. We're moving into our new house on Nov 7. So lots of excitement for the Bollings. Mr. Leason got new hardwood, which we've heard about everyday for the last 3 weeks. That's 21 days. Every morning. Other than that, not much new. Oh, yeah, it was actually snowing this morning. Very little but nevertheless snowing. I hope you guys are keeping a journal. Tessa I want you to start journaling because I will take it in for marks. I want you to also try every single obscure and weird food you can get your hands on, so you can tell me about it. Write about stories in every place you visit. Make sure they're entertaining...you know how I get bored when a story is toooooo boring. Make it up, I don't care. Thanks for the postcard by the way and keep on trekking!!! Miss you guys and hope to see new pictures soon. Mrs. Bolling
Rosemarie Kriesel & Family
Dear Lewis Family, I am Angela Cochrane's sister Rosemarie (Margaret teaches with her at Holy Trinity) and we have been following your travels with fascination over the last few months. My daughter Bridget just counted how many locations you have visited so far and came up with 53! We live in Hong Kong and would be delighted if you can join us for dinner at our place if you have time while you are here. We appreciate it will probably be November when you arrive in Asia. Please let us know if this would be convenient and approximate timing. We look forward to meeting all of you. Best wishes, Rosemarie
