Day 3 has seen us successfully reach Strahan. Group meeting this morning ended with agreement to continue & not pull out as we discovered a stone chip in the screen.
The offending Porsche driver who shot the stone at us was informed that he owed me half a screen at lunchtime & on the next stage launched his carrera into a gutter & stone wall- probably not a good time to hit him up for $300 replacement screen.
Sun is actually out in Strahan & beer/wine & air is cold.
8 stages tomorrow with a 6 am start- fog & ice to start the day- how hard can it be!!??
