just a quick note to start, for now we are just using the computers at the hostel in Phnom Penh so we can't upload any photos, we will upload them later :-)

So after our flight was delayed for 2 and a half hours (waiting on the plane) and consequentely a 5 hour stopover in Singapore (as opposed to one and a half) we finally arrive in Kuala Lumpur, where it is pouring with rain! wouhou the adventure really start!!

The first night of our trip was in luxury at the Seri Pacific Hotel por favor, where we had amazing views of the Petrona Towers! We went for dinner just near Times Square (the real one of course! ) and we ate about half of the restaurant (chairs included ! ) after not eating all day.

After a huge buffet breakfast at the hotel, we set out to dump our bags and go to Putra Jaya to see the Mosque there. After a train and 2 busses in the pouring rain(btw we should say that we like rain! make you feel like a traveller ! ) we arrived at the Prime Minister's house, and discovered it was quite a walk to the Mosque. After coming this far we decided to persevere and arrived at the Mosque 15 minutes after visiting hours, drenched! Luckily they let us in anyway - though Leesa had to wear a robe to cover herself. The Mosque was a beautiful peaceful place with beautiful views of the river.

We then set off to find the bus back and on the way were pulled over by the "police" who demanded to see our passports and wallets. They most likely weren't police, but luckily for us we didn't have enough money to interest them and no Australian dollars or Euros.and boom sorry detective Myarse!

A bit shaken up we got on the bus back to KL, where we met the most lovely Pakistani family who had recently moved to KL. 10 year old Zaina (going on 21) was very unimpressed that nobody spoke English in Malaysia and so spent the whole bus trip telling us about Pakistan! Even more talkative than Leesa if you would believe it! That put our afternoon in a happier light, we returned to Times Square to pick up glasses that we had bought and had a dinner and sheesha waiting until we had to go to the airport.

Overall, Malaysia was great, the people are mostly friendly with good intentions, public transport is great and the fruit is amazing! Returning there briefly on the 6th of December before India!

So we jump on the plane á Perth direction Kuala Lumpur, Malaysie.

Petit remerciement Jet star ,qui pour des problemes administratif (non mais serrieux ?? ) a retardé le vol de 2 heures!! bandes d'incapable! et toc!

Bref , passons...

Donc premiers pas en Asie et meme premier pas out of Australiapour Leesa!! je suis heureux de partager ca avec elle!

Kuala Lumpur , c'est pas vraiment l'idée que tu te fais de l'asie genre touk-touk ,tout le monde parle que chinois et tout !

non non non , c'est une ville qui vit tres bien ,sans sdf (ou en tout cas pas visibles ) impressionnante par ses buildings et ces centres commerciaux .les petronas tower, pourraient d'ailleurs,si elle n'étaient pas Malaysienne donc sympas et souriantes regarder l'eiffel tower avec dédain!

C'est l'un de ses grattes ciels qui nous recevra le soir de notre arrivée donc ,puisque nous avions booké un hotel 5 étoiles pour notre premiere nuit! on nous installe dans une spacieuse chambre avec une douche sortant du plafond esprit chute du Niagarra et vue imprenable sur la city et les Petronas Tower! petit plus non negligable : ecran plasma retransmettant du foot non-stop ! oh god i missed that! content il est Etienne ,content !

la claclaclasse!

epuisés apres une longue journée de transport on décide dáller manger dans un restaurant egyptien a cote de Time square ...sisi :-D ) enorme centre commercial flambant neuf !

affamés par la longue journée on a mangé a peu pres la moitié du restaurant , plus chicha et tout , note astronomique au final mais on sý attendait puis le serveur made in Pakistan etait super sympa alors on a pas rechigné et boom on a meme tipsé ! On est comme ca nous! :-)

Lendemain chargé on a (je vous la fait en express)

-traversé 4 fois la ville en public transport

-déposé nos enormes sacs a une auberge de jeunesse ,ceux ci que lón reccuperera dans 2 semaines ( decidant de faire la cambodge et laos avec 2 t shirt un short et 3 callecons dans nos petits sac a dos ! on est roots nous ! )

- visité l'une des plus grandes mosquées d''Asie ( magnifique d'ailleurs relaxant, Leesa a meme put entrer ,des robes etant a disposition pour couvrir les dames! )

-on s'est fait controller sur le chemin du retour par des prétendus flics ( mon oeil ouais ! ) qui en voulaient a notre argent... pas de bol on avait pas grand chose a chaparder du coup ils nous ont laisser filer !! et touk premiere experience avec des saligauds ! on savait quíl y en avait on etait preparé ! :-P

-rencontre avec une petite famille pakistanaise dans le bus super chaleureuse ca a bien remonter le moral des troupes et donner des forces pour la prochaine aventure!

minuit direction le bus qui nous envoie a l'aeroport pouyr la prochaine étape jái nommé ... Cambodia et Siem Reap la ville aux temples !youhou!
