Hi there to everyone who takes a look at my page. I'm finally home now after a spectacularly enjoyable time in South America, the UK is a bit of a shock to the system but I'm getting used to it. I'd like to thank everyone who I met on my travels for making it such a great time and everyone who looked and my web page or e-mailed me for taking an interest and keeping me updated with goings on at home.

Hi Lee
I'm back in the UK. What the hell did Ignacio do to his hair. I may be doing some voluntary work with UK foxes. Its only the odd day here and there. Mainly scat sampling random quadrants of the UK. I know you will be very jealous.

Hope the frostbite has gone now after you rclimb. Glad you went up AND down!
Your parents gave us pedometers for Christmas so when we have mastered re-setting them after batteries have fallen out, etc. we should be able to boast of the kilometers we have walked and calories burned off. Bet you have have done both in great quantities.

Hello everyone, just thought I`d add a quick message after a very busy month! After zig-zaging South America from Buenos Aires to Valpariso and some extensive late night parties with Ignacio and Susanna, I commenced my biggest mountain challenge yet. After 20 days on the mountain I successfully summited Acongcagua, the highest mountain in the world, outside Asia (6.962m). This included 6 days in a snow storm below the summit, where temperatures got down to minus 30 without wind chill (minus 40 in strong winds). I`m back in Osorno now and hope to be able to feel my toes within a few days! Lee

Happy New Year Lee! We hear that you are mountain climbing - hope it goes well and no altitude sickness.
All is well here in Dorset. Your parents will be here for a few days in early February. We`ll drink to your health and expect to hear you speaking fluent Spanish and perhaps some Portuguese when you reterun?
Love, Valerie and Peter

It will be strange not sharing Christmas with you this year, Lee. In particular we will miss your usual gift of port and stilton cheese. In an effort to keep the 'Clements Traditions' alive I have, I'm sure with your blessing, purchased a round of magnificent Blue Stilton and an excellent bottle of Port on your behalf. We will toast your health and happiness at noon on Christmas day, and look forward to financial reimbursement early in the new year. Your ever considerate Father.
