Not too bad a start this morning, we set off at 10am. Much better than all these 7am starts. We had a nice stop off at Lake Tekapo to see the Church of the Good Shepherd. It's been great to not set our alarms again and have a lie in. Still up for 10am though, we're not that lazy. The weather was fantastic again when we woke up, blue skies with just a few clouds dotted around. Mel wasn't well today and she wasn't too good yesterday either, so just me, Therese and Craig set out on a 4 hour hike through the Hooker Valley. It was a lovely walk up to the Hooker lake.
